Warehouse Technician (DME)
LEON Medical Centers seeking to find a responsible, well organized and detail orientated candidate for our Durable Medical Equipment Warehouse. Ideal applicant must operate or be familiar with use of all warehouse equipment and warehouse operations.If this fits your skills and experience, we want you to join our team!
  • Loads and off-loads trucks wearing proper personal protective equipment/gear and ascertaining that all loaded equipment is in a full state of patient readiness according to AHCA and Leon Home Medical Standards
  • Maintains warehouse inventory and daily check of perpetual inventory in each truck in strict adherence to OSHA regulations and standards
  • Strictly adheres to company Policy and Procedures on Infection Control Safety
  • Complies with Leon Medical Centers' policies and procedures and maintains confidentiality in accordance with state and federal laws.
  • Assists in inventory stock counts
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Maintains open channels of communication with center administration and other company departments; Answers all inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.


This work requires the following physical activities: climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. The work is performed indoors.Works in office areas as well as throughout the facility. Sits, stands, bends, lift, and moves intermittently during working hours. Interacts with patients, family members, staff, visitors, government agencies, etc., under a variety of conditions and circumstances.

  • Minimum of (2) two years of experience in working as a warehouse clerk or similar capacity; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Expereicne driving a fork lift is preferred.

  • Must be able to inspect returned equipment and ensure proper cleaning/disincentive per (AHCA) policies and procedures for re-use.

  • Valid class E driver license

  • Experience working with Durable Medical Equipment is preferred.
