The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care and be dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries, ensuring timely and effective care.
- Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with other physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
