System Architect

We are seeking a skilled and strategic Cloud Architect to lead the design and implement cloud solutions with a focus on on-premise to cloud migrations with a focus on Azure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in workload sizing, migration strategy, cost analysis, and network design. You will collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions tailored to business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Migration Strategy:
• Assess existing on-premise infrastructure and applications.
• Define end-to-end migration plans including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting strategies.
• Lead and coordinate the execution of cloud migration initiatives.
• Sizing and Architecture:
• Perform capacity planning and right-sizing analysis of workloads.
• Design scalable and resilient cloud architecture tailored to performance and cost requirements.
• Cost Analysis & Optimization:
• Conduct cloud cost analysis and ROI assessments for migration projects.
• Recommend cost optimization strategies using reserved instances, autoscaling, serverless, and more.
• Utilize tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management.
• Collaboration and Documentation:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, operations, and security.
• Create detailed architecture diagrams, runbooks, and technical documentation.
• Network and Security Design:
• Design secure and highly available hybrid network architectures (VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with corporate security standards and industry best practices.
• Define identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and firewall policies.

• Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years in cloud architecture, with hands-on experience in migration from on-premise environments to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
