Are you reliable, customer‑focused, and passionate about supporting patients in a healthcare setting? We are looking for a committed and professional Pharmacy Delivery Driver to assist our community by delivering prescriptions and over‑the‑counter products with care, accuracy, and courtesy.

In this role, you’ll be an essential part of our daily operations—ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining safety, and representing our organization with professionalism and respect.

 
Essential Duties:
  • Follow all traffic laws and transportation procedures.
  • Deliver orders to local customers professionally and with a customer‑focused approach.
  • Adhere to scheduled delivery times and handle copay collections accurately.
  • Report any issues to the supervisor and assist with customer service phone calls.
  • Contact patients regarding delivery status when needed.
  • Inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure proper working condition and report mechanical issues.
  • Load and unload the vehicle and verify shipment contents.
  • Scan and organize prescriptions using required systems and handheld devices.
  • Follow written or verbal directions and report delivery delays or incidents.
  • Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and a neat personal appearance.
  • Participate in required trainings, meetings, and comply with company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Full‑time schedule: 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays based on company needs.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
  • Physical activities include climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, standing for extended periods, walking, lifting, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone with:

  • Ability to operate a light vehicle.
  • Working knowledge of safe and efficient automotive operation.
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to deal effectively and patiently with others.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Strong customer service skills and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

This position requires the use of a personal vehicle and appropriate level of auto insurance coverage  as well as attention to detail, patience when dealing with an elderly population, and sensitivity to hearing or vision deficiencies.

 

Licenses & Certifications

  • Valid State of Florida Driver License Class E.
  • May require a Valid State of Florida Commercial Driver License Class A, B, or C.
