OTC Packing Clerk
Job Description
The OTC Packing Clerk is responsible for preparing, scanning, packing OTC items in bags or boxes, and sorting for delivery to patients’ homes or center pharmacies.
Skills / Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organizes and sets up work area with bags, boxes, tape and other supplies.
- Retrieves printed OTC forms from organizer to fill orders.
- Picks OTC items from shelves to fill patient’s order.
- Packs items in bags or boxes and attaches patient label with address and bar code.
- Sorts completed orders by pharmacy delivery quadrants in rolling carts.
- Takes completed orders in carts to pharmacy delivery staging area.
- Places all OTC orders that will go out in the mail in US mail tote.
- After completing assigned tasks, assists manager as needed in other functions.
- Maintains working area clean and neat at all times.
- Reports issues or concerns to supervisor and/or director.
- Keeps shelves stocked with OTC products on a daily basis.
- Communicates any maintenance issues immediately.
- Demonstrates courtesy and politeness to patients, visitors and other employees
