Medical Scribe (Full-time)

As a Medical Scribe at Leon Medical Centers, you will play a vital role in supporting our physicians and enhancing patient care. Working under the direct supervision of an attending physician, you will be responsible for accurately creating and maintaining patients’ Electronic Medical Records (EMR). This includes documenting patient histories and clinical information as dictated by the physician. Your contributions will help streamline clinic operations, improve provider efficiency, and ensure precise, comprehensive medical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately document patient histories, physical examination findings, assessments, and treatment plans in the EMR as dictated by physicians
• Capture and organize patient care encounters, including diagnostic data and clinical findings
• Accompany physicians during patient visits to record medical histories and examinations in real time
• Update and maintain patient records, including histories, physical exams, and other relevant health information
• Perform additional clerical and administrative tasks as assigned to support clinic workflow and provider productivity
