Human Resources Clerk

Key Responsibilities
- Answer and screen incoming calls and inquiries, providing accurate information or directing to the appropriate personnel.
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail for the HR department.
- Prepare, maintain, and scan employee files, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with departmental procedures.
- Organize and file various HR-related documents; research as needed.
- Assist with employment verification requests.
- Coordinate and send birthday and holiday cards to employees.
- Process nametag orders for new hires and existing staff.
- Serve as a backup to the Corporate Receptionist(s) as needed.
- Support the coordination of company events such as career fairs and community outreach initiatives (e.g., League Against Cancer).
- Perform general clerical duties, including supply management, equipment operation, and document preparation.
- Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy in interactions with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Maintain open and effective communication with center administration and other departments, responding to inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.

- Bilingual - fluency in English and Spanish
- Currently enrolled in a Human Resources degree program (preferred)
- Previous administrative or HR experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
